Come and enjoy the music for the O'Donnell 7th and 8th grade Band Concert at the Stoughton High School Auditorium, 232 Pearl Street on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at 7:30 PM. Admission is Adults $3, Students/Seniors $2 and Family Maximum $5.
You will be hearing the music musical performances of the 7th and 8th Grade bands, the OMS Jazz Ensemble and the OMS Honor Wind Band.
The 7th Grade band will be directed by Mrs. Anne Fiske and will be playing 3 songs including Bunker Hill Overture.
The OMS Honor Wind Band will playing 2 songs plus Selections from the Peer Gynt Suite and directed by Mrs. Anne Fiske.
The 8th Grade Band will be directed by Mr. Keith Curbow and will be playing 3 songs including Bonsai Tree by Julie Giroux.
The OMS Jazz Ensemble will play 4 songs including There;s the Rub by Gordon Goodwin and will be directed by Mr. Keith Curbow.
Please come as this will be the first concert of the 7th and 8th Grades in the new Stoughton High Auditorium and the students have worked hard.
The Marching Band is having their banquet on Friday January 24th, 2020 at the VFW Hall, 837 Washington Street, Stoughton, MA.
Attached is a form that you need to return by Friday, January 10, 2020 letting us know if you will be able to attend.

Come and enjoy the O'Donnell Middle School's 7th and 8th grade choral concert in the new Stoughton High School Auditorium on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 7:30 PM. Admission is Adults $3, Students/Seniors $2 and a Family Maximum of $5. The Students, Ms Beauman and Mr. Block have been practicing all last year and would love you to come.
Ms. Betty Beauman will direct the 7th Grade BDF Chorus in singing "Feel Good-Tyson & Scottt/ arr. Baker & Elliott".
Ms Beauman and Mr. Daniel Block will direct the Honors Chorus singing "Winter Wonderland- Bernard & Smith"
Mr. Daniel Block will direct the 7th Grade ACE Chorus singing "Everlasting Melody - Rollo Dilworth".
Mr. Block will direct the 8th Grade BDF Chorus singing "Riu, Riu, Chiu-Spanish Carol/ arr. Linda Steen Sprvacek", he will also direct the 8th Grade ACE Chorus singing "Come in from the Firefly Darkness-Amy F. Bernon".
The 7th and 8th Grades will then combine to sing "Why We Sing- Greg Gilpin". This will be their first concert singing in the new SHS Auditorium.
Come and watch the performance of Stoughton High School's Winter Guard.
They will be practicing Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-8 PM at the O'Donnell Middle School Cafeteria.
Family and Friends are invited to attend at the end of rehearsal on January 23, 2020 for a performance of their hard work before their first competition in Salem, MA.

The students have been hard at work since returning to school. The Symphonic Band; directed by Mr. John Mange will be performing: The Washington Post March by John Phillip Sousa, Pageant by Vincent Persichetti, and Heart Song by David Maslanka and a Christmas Song---Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson.
The Concert Band; directed by Mr. Keith Curbow will be performing: High School Cadets by John Phillip Sousa; Arr. Michael Story, 3 Brazillian Folk Songs by Heitor Billa Lobos Arr. Ann Fenske; I. The Crab, II The Little Dove that Flew Away and III Spider Monkies. They will end the evening with two songs: Awaken and Into the Blue by Cait Nishimura who had a Video Conference with the Concert Band.
The Jazz Band; directed by Mr. Keith Curbow will be performing:Cotton Tail by Duke Ellington, Caravan by Duke Ellington and Charlie Brown Medley by Vince Geraldi; Arr:Paul Murtha.
